On the afternoon of January 9, 2025, Gilimex Industrial Park participated in and delivered a report at the 2025 work review conference and the orientation and tasks for 2026, organized by the Hue City Economic and Industrial Zones Management Board.

Review of 2025 Performance
Investment attraction continued to be a key highlight in 2025. The Management Board approved 22 new projects with total registered capital of over VND 2,445 billion, and approved capital increases for 11 projects with additional capital of more than VND 21,600 billion. Total newly registered and adjusted investment capital exceeded VND 24,000 billion, four times higher than the same period last year, accounting for 74% of the city’s total registered investment capital.
Currently, there are 195 valid investment projects in the economic zones and industrial parks, with total registered capital of VND 142,753 billion; among them are 56 FDI projects with registered capital of VND 75,286 billion.
Production and business activities of enterprises in the economic zones and industrial parks remained stable and continued to grow. Total import–export turnover reached USD 2 billion; revenue was approximately VND 50,000 billion; state budget contributions reached VND 6,300 billion, exceeding the set targets. The economic zones and industrial parks currently employ around 43,000 workers, an increase of nearly 2,000 compared to the end of 2024.
Environmental and labor management was strengthened; many industrial parks have gradually completed centralized wastewater treatment systems, meeting the requirements for sustainable development.

Directions and Tasks for 2026
Entering 2026, the Hue City Economic and Industrial Zones Management Board has clearly defined its objective to create a strong breakthrough. Accordingly, it aims to attract VND 9,000–11,000 billion in non-state investment capital; disburse 100% of public investment capital; achieve enterprise revenue of VND 57,000 billion; reach import–export turnover of USD 2.3 billion; and contribute VND 7,000–7,500 billion to the state budget.
At the same time, the Management Board will focus on accelerating the progress of key projects in the Chan May – Lang Co Economic Zone, new industrial parks, and projects in industry, logistics, seaport services, and social housing, thereby contributing to sustainable growth momentum and affirming Hue City’s role as an economic growth engine in the new development phase.
Representatives of the leadership of the Economic and Industrial Zones Management Board presented Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the Hue City People’s Committee and Certificates of Merit from the Head of the Economic and Industrial Zones Management Board to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in 2025.
