On June 4, a delegation from Hue City, led by Mr. Tran Huu Thuy Giang, Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Hue City, organized a conference in Beijing, China to meet Chinese tourism businesses and investors. Leaders of the Department of Tourism and the Hue City Center for Investment, Trade Promotion, and Enterprise Support attended the delegation.
The conference attracted more than 30 tourism associations, investment associations, travel agencies, and investors exploring cooperation opportunities in Hue City. At the event, the delegation introduced potentials and strengths of Hue, a heritage city and a unique culture and tourism hub of Vietnam. They also shared local development orientations for tourism, infrastructure, green urban areas, digital transformation, and investment attraction policies.
Chinese travel enterprises, corporations, and investors expressed strong interest in Hue’s culture, resort, and heritage tourism products, as well as investment cooperation opportunities in tourism, services, infrastructure, urban development, and clean energy. In particular, investors highly appreciated Hue City’s green and sustainable development orientation, collaboration potentials for renewable energy projects, energy-saving technologies, and solutions supporting green growth. These exchanges opened up practical prospects for cooperation, contributing to boosting the number of Chinese tourists to Hue and attracting high-quality investment in the coming time.
Through networking activities, direct connections, and face-to-face exchanges, the conference contributed to strengthening cooperative relations between Hue and Chinese partners. Furthermore, it effectively promoted the image of a heritage city, an attractive destination, a favorable investment environment, and a green, sustainable development path to the international business and investment community.
