Hue City has approved the investment policy for the Software Production and Technology Park in An Van Duong New Urban Area, with a total capital of nearly VND 1.778 trillion – one of the city’s first large-scale digital infrastructure projects.

The project is located on plot DV5 in Zone E – An Van Duong New Urban Area (Thuy Van Ward, Thuan Hoa District), covering more than 5 hectares. It is just about 12 km – or roughly 20 minutes by car – from Gilimex Industrial Park, creating a convenient link between a high-tech R&D center and a modern industrial production hub.

According to the design, the technology park will feature international-standard IT research and development centers with modern, eco-friendly facilities, up to 9 floors above ground and 2 basement levels. It will accommodate around 10,000 skilled professionals in fields such as programming, AI, big data, design, and software export. The project is expected to become a driving force for high technology, the digital economy, and the attraction of high-quality talent to Central Vietnam.

With synchronized infrastructure, a strategic location, and attractive incentives, Hue is steadily shaping a closely connected industrial–high-tech ecosystem. This synergy promises to create an integrated environment for work, research, and production, helping investors optimize their value chains and workforce locally.

As technology investment flows increasingly shift toward localities with ready land and well-developed infrastructure, Hue – with its strategic vision and competitive incentives – is poised for a major breakthrough in attracting high-tech investment.
