On the afternoon of February 26, 2026, Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, and Chairman of the City People’s Committee, led a working delegation to visit and work at Gilimex Hue Industrial Park on the occasion of the beginning of 2026.

At the working session, representatives of the Management Board of Gilimex Hue Industrial Park provided a detailed report to the Chairman of the City People’s Committee on the project’s overall scale, strategic objectives, and the progress of technical infrastructure development.
With the orientation of developing a modern, green, and sustainable industrial park, Gilimex Hue is focusing on completing its technical infrastructure, ensuring synchronized systems for electricity, water supply, wastewater treatment, and telecommunications, ready to meet the standards of international investors. At the same time, the park is promoting secondary investment attraction through proactive engagement with enterprises in global supply chains, particularly in advanced, green, and clean technology industries.
Positive Results Recognized at EON Industry Vietnam Co., Ltd.
During the visit to the helmet production line at EON Industry Vietnam Co., Ltd. – an investor operating at Gilimex Hue Industrial Park – the delegation acknowledged positive results after nearly one year of operation. From May 2025 to present, the company has exported more than 337,600 products, achieved revenue of VND 140 billion, export turnover of USD 4.9 million, contributed VND 11 billion to the state budget, and created employment for 761 workers.
In 2026, EON Industry Vietnam aims to increase its capacity to 2.5 million products per year, expand into the U.S. and European markets, and implement a ready-built factory leasing model to form a closed production chain and enhance operational efficiency. The city leadership assessed this direction as appropriate, contributing to higher added value and improved competitiveness of the FDI sector in the locality.
Directive from the Chairman of the City People’s Committee
After listening to reports from the units, Chairman Nguyen Khac Toan acknowledged the efforts of investors and emphasized the need to accelerate construction progress while ensuring quality, occupational safety, and full compliance with regulations on environment, land, and construction. The city leadership requested relevant departments, sectors, and local authorities to strengthen coordination, promptly resolve obstacles related to administrative procedures, site clearance, and connectivity infrastructure, and proactively guide and review documentation to avoid prolonged bottlenecks.

In 2026, Hue City faces the requirement of achieving double-digit growth, laying the foundation for breakthrough development in the new phase. Within this overall objective, the contribution of enterprises, especially key driving projects such as Kim Long Motors Hue, plays a crucial role.
Chairman Nguyen Khac Toan affirmed that the city government will continue to accompany and provide maximum support within the legal framework, enabling enterprises to focus on innovation, enhance production and business capacity, expand markets, and scale up their development in the coming period. Legitimate recommendations will be assigned to relevant departments and sectors for review and prompt resolution in accordance with regulations, creating a foundation for Hue to accelerate, develop sustainably, and strengthen the competitiveness of the local economy in 2026 and the years ahead.
