On the afternoon of August 29, Phu Bai Ward People’s Committee held a ceremony to announce and grant the Decision on land use conversion and land lease to Gilimex Industrial Park Corporation for the implementation of the Gilimex Hue Industrial Park project.
According to the Decision, Phu Bai Ward People’s Committee leased more than 3 million m² of land in Zone A and B of Gilimex Hue IP to Gilimex Industrial Park Corporation, with a land use term until March 10, 2071. The land lease is applied under the form of annual rental payment, without land use right auction, serving the investment project of infrastructure development and operation of Gilimex Industrial Park.
Attending the ceremony were Mr. Le Van Cuong – Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People’s Council of Phu Bai Ward; Mr. Le Ba Minh Hai – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of Phu Bai Ward People’s Committee; Mr. Pham Xuan Tam – Standing Committee Member, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the Ward; Mr. Tran Duy Viet – Standing Committee Member, Vice Chairman of the Ward People’s Committee; Mr. Phan Huu Son – Standing Committee Member, Vice Chairman of the Ward People’s Committee; together with leaders of professional divisions of the ward.
Also present were Mr. Phan Vu Viet Hung – Deputy General Director of Gilimex Industrial Park Corporation; and Mr. Truong Minh Hoai – Deputy Head in charge of Compensation, Site Clearance and Land Fund Development Department of Project Management Board for Construction Investment in Zone 3.
“The People’s Committee of the ward, professional divisions, and relevant units will continue to accompany and create the most favorable conditions for Gilimex Industrial Park Corporation to implement the project on schedule, ensuring quality and strict compliance with legal regulations, especially on land, environment, and social welfare,” emphasized Mr. Le Van Cuong – Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Ward People’s Council.
“With the capacity and credibility of the investor, along with the attention and support from the local authorities and the consensus of the people, the investment project of developing and operating Gilimex Industrial Park infrastructure will succeed and become a highlight in attracting investment to Hue City in the coming time,” Mr. Cuong affirmed.
Gilimex Hue Industrial Park is located in Phu Bai Ward, Hue City, covering more than 460 hectares with a total investment capital of VND 2,614 billion. The project is designed with a modern and synchronized master plan, aiming towards environmentally friendly and sustainable industrial infrastructure development. Gilimex IP Hue enjoys a strategic location opposite Phu Bai International Airport, close to National Highway 1A and the North-South Expressway, facilitating logistics activities and regional connectivity.
