The People’s Committee of Bac Ninh province has just issued Plan No. 347/KH-UBND to organize the groundbreaking and inauguration ceremonies for projects and works to celebrate the establishment of Bac Ninh city.
Organizing groundbreaking and inauguration ceremonies for projects and works to celebrate the establishment of Bac Ninh city aims to create a competitive atmosphere and provide impetus for socio -economic development, contributing to building Bac Ninh into a civilized, modern city directly under the central government with a synchronized infrastructure.
Through these activities, the province also promotes the image, investment environment, and development achievements of Bac Ninh; creates consensus among the people and the business community, and mobilizes resources to serve development.
According to the plan, eight projects and works will be officially launched and inaugurated. Specifically, on September 16, 2026, starting at 8:00 AM, seven projects will be officially launched and inaugurated, including five groundbreaking ceremonies and two inauguration ceremonies.
Five projects commenced construction, including: the Investment and Construction Project of the New Urban Area in the Northwest of Bac Ninh City – Zone 1; the Investment and Construction and Business of Infrastructure in Nghia Hung Industrial Park; the Investment and Construction and Business of Technical Infrastructure in Thuan Thanh III Industrial Park – Sub-zone C; the Investment and Construction and Business of Infrastructure in the Expanded Viet Han Industrial Park in Nenh and Viet Yen wards; and the Investment and Construction Project of Social Housing in the Phuong Hoang New Urban Area, Noi Hoang ward, Bac Giang city (now Tien Phong ward), Bac Ninh province.
Two projects were inaugurated: the Ho Chi Minh Memorial Temple project in Vo Cuong and Kinh Bac wards, Bac Ninh province; and the Social Housing Project for workers in Quang Chau commune, Viet Yen district (now Nenh ward), Bac Ninh province.
On September 22, 2026, starting at 8:00 AM, the groundbreaking ceremony will be held for the Investment Project to build and operate infrastructure in Que Vo III Industrial Park – Subdivision 2.
The organization of groundbreaking and inauguration ceremonies must ensure solemnity, practicality, safety, economy, and efficiency; projects and works must fully meet the conditions for groundbreaking and inauguration and comply with the provisions of the law .
The selected projects are large-scale, practically significant, and contribute to supplementing and improving the urban, industrial, and social housing infrastructure systems, creating more space and new impetus for development in Bac Ninh province during this new development phase.
