On November 11th, 2022, the ground-breaking ceremony of Gilimex Industrial Park was co-held by the People’s Committee of Thua Thien Hue province and Gilimex Industrial Park Corporation.
The project invested by Gilimex Industrial Park Corporation was approved by the Prime Minister on Decision 319/QD-TTg on March 10th, 2021. Its land use area is 460,85 hectare. Its total investment capital is over VND 2.600 billion. The project is expected to attract from 20 to 30 thousand employees.
Gilimex Industrial Park is situated in a favorable location. It is about 2km from Phu Bai International Airport, 50km from Chan May port, 80km from Danang seaport and Danang city center. It is located along 1A national road connecting Phu Bai airport and Hue city, and the beginning of east – west economic corridor. The industrial park is divided into two sections. At present, the ground leveling in section A has been partly completed.
Ten percent of its technical infrastructure has already been finished. As planned, this section will be handed over to secondary investors in the fourth quarter of 2022. After section A was completed, Gilimex Industrial Park Corporation will carry out ground leveling and invest in technical infrastructure in section B.
Gilimex Industrial Park was aimed to attract investors specializing in producing electrical items, computer, optical devices, automotive spare parts, paper, paper-based products, rubber-based products, plastic-based products, food, beverage, leather, leather-related products, medical devices and other products made from non-metallic minerals.
In Thua Thien Hue, Gilimex Industrial Park Corporation will focus on infrastructure and landscape. The corporation committed to not only maintain sustainability, but also benefit investors investing in Gilimex Industrial Park.
