The investment project for the construction and operation of infrastructure at the Gilimex Vinh Long Industrial Park in Vinh Long Province is developed by Gilimex Vinh Long Industrial Park Corporation. The project covers an area of 400 hectares, with an investment capital of approximately USD 220 million, and is located in Tan Quoi Commune, Vinh Long Province.

Vinh Long is located in the heart of the Mekong Delta, between the Tien River and the Hau River. Vinh Long is traversed by National Highway 1 and the Eastern North–South Expressway, along with other major routes such as National Highway 53, National Highway 54, National Highway 80, the My Thuan – Can Tho Expressway, and My Thuan Bridge 1 & 2. These developments have significantly transformed the province’s landscape and strengthened its regional standing. The province’s strong focus on infrastructure investment, enhanced regional connectivity, and comprehensive development is expected to form the backbone of its economic breakthrough.
Road Transport:
Vinh Long coastal road (over 112 km): Connects from Dong Thap, runs through Ben Tre, links to the former Tra Vinh coastal zone, and integrates with the seaport network and Dinh An Economic Zone.
My Thuan – Can Tho Expressway: A key segment of the North–South Expressway, this route shortens travel time from Can Tho City to Ho Chi Minh City from 3–4 hours to around 2 hours, and from Vinh Long City to Ho Chi Minh City from 3.5 hours to 2 hours.
National Highway 53: Connects National Highway 1 to other Mekong Delta provinces and the Southeast region; also links to the coastal corridor and major facilities such as the Duyen Hai Thermal Power Center and the deep-water access channel to Hau River.
National Highway 54: One of Vinh Long’s most important routes, connecting Dong Thap and Vinh Long provinces.
National Highway 80: A vital corridor linking the western provinces of the Mekong Delta to the rest of the region.
Waterway Transport:
The province is crossed by the Tien, Hau, Co Chien, and Mang Thit rivers, with six major river mouths leading to the East Sea: Cua Dai, Ba Lai, Ham Luong, Co Chien, Cung Hau, and Dinh An. Vinh Long has approximately 2,117 km of inland waterways, capable of accommodating vessels of up to 10,000 tonnes and barges of up to 2,400 tonnes.
