On the afternoon of August 19, Mr. Le Tri Thanh – Deputy Secretary of the Hue City Party Committee and Chairman of the Hue City People’s Committee – joined municipal and regional authorities for an executive inspection of Gilimex Hue Industrial Park.
Mr. Phan Vu Viet Hung, Deputy General Director of Gilimex Hue Industrial Park, reported on the progress of investment and construction, the investment promotion plan, and presented several recommendations requesting support from the city authorities.
Accordingly, Mr. Le Tri Thanh acknowledged acknowledged the investor’s efforts and requested that the City Economic Zones and Industrial Parks Management Board, relevant departments and agencies, and local authorities continue to closely monitor the project’s progress; strengthen coordination and support the investor in completing the required procedures in accordance with regulations; and promptly address any difficulties and obstacles, particularly those related to compensation and site clearance, infrastructure development, and logistics connectivity.
With a total area of 460 hectares, Gilimex Hue is accelerating infrastructure development. Zone A (49 hectares) has completed its technical infrastructure and reached an occupancy rate of 75%; Zone B (412 hectares) has deployed infrastructure across more than 40% of its area. The project has completed a centralized wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of 7,600 m³/day. Currently, nearly 80 hectares of land with completed infrastructure are ready for lease to investors. An additional 112 hectares are expected to be completed in Q4 2026.
The city government’s support serves as a driving force for Gilimex Industrial Park to accelerate progress, complete synchronized infrastructure, and be ready to welcome a new wave of investors.
