Bac Ninh is a province endowed with strong potential, internal capacity, and multiple advantages for development, thanks to its strategic geographic location that supports trade, connectivity, and cooperation both domestically and internationally. The province is traversed by major transportation routes that link it with key economic, commercial, and cultural centers of Northern Vietnam:

• National Highway 1A, the trans-Vietnam route connecting Hanoi – Bac Ninh – Lang Son – Huu Nghi Border Gate with China;

• National Highway 17, running through four provinces/cities: Hanoi, Bac Ninh, Bac Giang, and Thai Nguyen;

• National Highway 18, connecting Noi Bai International Airport (Hanoi) – Bac Ninh – Hai Duong – Quang Ninh;

• National Highway 38, linking Bac Ninh – Hai Duong – Hung Yen – Ha Nam;

• The North–South railway route, extending to Lang Son and onward to China.
