On February 21, the Provincial People’s Committee of Bac Giang Province granted the investment registration certificate for Nghia Hung Industrial Park (IP), Bac Giang.
Nghia Hung Industrial Park is located in Dao My and Nghia Hung communes, Lang Giang District, covering an area of over 148 hectares with a total investment capital of VND 2,200 billion. Once operational and reaching full occupancy, the project is expected to create approximately 16,500 local jobs, contributing to the region’s socio-economic development.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Hoang Tien Dat – General Director of Gilimex Bac Giang Industrial Park JSC, the project’s investor, expressed his deep gratitude to the provincial leadership, departments, and local authorities for their support throughout the project implementation process.
Mr. Hoang Tien Dat emphasized that in the coming period, the company will actively coordinate with local authorities and relevant agencies to expedite legal procedures related to land clearance, construction permits, infrastructure development, and investment promotion. The goal is to complete the project on schedule as planned by the provincial People’s Committee.
He also expressed his hope for continued support from Bac Giang’s leadership to put the project into operation soon, creating more jobs, increasing tax revenues, and contributing to the province’s socio-economic growth.
Bac Giang boosts industrial development
According to Bac Giang’s leadership, the province has been focusing on improving the investment environment, facilitating business growth, and expanding production. In 2024, despite economic challenges, Bac Giang maintained an impressive growth rate of 13.85%, leading the nation. For 2025, the province targets a GRDP growth of 13.6%; for the 2026-2030 period, Bac Giang is assigned the third-highest growth target in the country at 15%.
To support industrial park development, Bac Giang is implementing 14 power projects to ensure a stable electricity supply. Additionally, the province continues enhancing the business investment environment to attract more domestic and international enterprises.
Development potential of Nghia Hung Industrial Park
Nghia Hung Industrial Park, developed by Gilimex Bac Giang Industrial Park JSC, is located in Lang Giang District. This district is emerging as Bac Giang’s new industrial hub by attracting industrial projects aligned with green urban development models.
In terms of development orientation, Lang Giang District is positioned as the northern economic center of the province, serving as a key transportation hub along the Hanoi – Lang Son economic corridor. It is also a focal point for industrial development, logistics services, and high-quality clean agricultural production in Bac Giang.
