Establish a Steering Committee for the implementation of Gilimex Vinh Long industrial project and Binh Tan industrial park resettlement area project.
On March 16, 2023, the Chairman of Vinh Long Provincial People’s Committee issued Decision No. 545/QD-UBND on the establishment of a Steering Committee for the implementation of the Gilimex Vinh Long industrial park project and Binh Tan industrial park resettlement area project (referred to as the Steering Committee).
Accordingly, the Steering Committee consists of the Head, Deputy Heads and members as below:
- Mr. Nguyen Van Liet – Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee as Head of the Steering Committee,
- Mr. Pham Thanh Wisdom – Head of Management Board of Vinh Long Industrial Parks as Deputy Head of Standing Committee,
- Mr. Vo Quoc Thanh – Director of the Department of Planning and Investment and Mr. Pham Minh Hoang – Secretary of Binh Tan District Committee to be the Deputy Head of the Department;
The remaining members of the Steering Committee include the Chief of Staff of the Provincial People’s Committee, Director of the Department of Finance, Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, Director of the Department of Construction, Director of the Department of Transport, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, Deputy Director in charge of the Department of Industry and Trade and Chairman of Binh Tan District People’s Committee.
Duties and powers of the Steering Committee:
Specific tasks and powers of each member of the Steering Committee shall be assigned by the Head of the Steering Committee.
Direct the implementation, promptly direct, resolve, handle and remove difficulties, obstacles arising during the implementation of the Gilimex Vinh Long industrial park project and the Binh Tan industrial park resettlement area project according to its competence.
Support developers and investors to soon implement procedures related to compensation, site clearance, investment, construction, land, environment, fire prevention and fighting… planned projects, early implementation of site recovery and handover for resettlement arrangement and investment in technical infrastructure construction of projects.
Monitor, inspect and urge the implementation progress of projects at the same time, direct the implementation of investment in related technical infrastructure works (electricity supply, water supply,…) to serve the operation of projects to ensure synchronization and efficiency.
