On 29 July 2026, Gilimex Industrial Park was honored to welcome a delegation led by H.E. He Wei, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Vietnam, together with representatives from more than 30 Chinese enterprises, on an investment exploration visit to Hue City.
During the visit, the delegation toured Gilimex Hue Industrial Park, a 460-hectare industrial park comprising Zone A (49 hectares) and Zone B (411 hectares). Gilimex Industrial Park introduced its vision of developing a green, clean, and smart industrial park, while showcasing its strategic location, modern infrastructure, strong regional connectivity, and investment-ready land to support high-value manufacturing projects.
Later that day, the delegation attended the Hue–China Investment Promotion Forum, where Hue City leaders reaffirmed their commitment to fostering a transparent, stable, and business-friendly investment environment, while providing long-term support to investors throughout their operations.
China is currently one of Hue’s largest foreign investors, with more than 30 FDI projects and a total registered investment of nearly USD 771 million. These investments span manufacturing, energy, services, and food processing, creating employment opportunities for more than 9,000 local workers.
The visit further strengthened investment ties and reaffirmed Gilimex Industrial Park’s position as an attractive destination for international manufacturers and investors seeking long-term growth opportunities in Vietnam.
